Two of Ireland’s most celebrated culinary talents will team up once more for an extraordinary evening of fine dining. For the first time in Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud’s 44 years, Master Chef Guillaume Lebrun will open his kitchen doors for one night only and welcome former apprentice, Chef John Kelly of the Lady Helen restaurant at Mount Juliet Estate, proudly supported by Nespresso Professional.

On Tuesday, 11th November, this exclusive collaboration will continue to unite two of Ireland’s most decorated dining rooms – the two Michelin starred Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud and the Michelin Lady Helen restaurant – for a celebration of Ireland’s finest seasonal ingredients, French technique and creative innovation.

Guests will enjoy a bespoke 6-course tasting menu that reflects the harmony between Kelly’s refined modern Irish style and Lebrun’s French precision. Each course will be paired with a specially selected wine from the legendary Award-winning wine cellar at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud.

The specially created menu will feature an array of delicate dishes including Foie Gras, Pickled Walnut, Sour Cherry & Treacle Brioche, Porcupine Bank Langoustine & Caviar and Tipperary Organic Veal, Baby Leek, White Truffle & Comte, to name just a few. A specially chosen Nespresso Professional capsule, the Caffé Nocciola with notes of roasted hazelnut will be masterly infused in a Hazelnut, Coeur de Guanaja and passion fruit dessert.

Guillaume Lebrun, Master Chef, Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud said: “I am very much looking forward to welcoming John to the kitchen in Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud.  Our mutual passion for the finest ingredients and great respect for each other’s methods and creations promises for a truly memorable evening and menu.”
