In advance of their springtime public opening, Dublin City Brewing Co. are very happy to begin a long term commitment to the Irish food & drink community.
This sees them launching Dublin City Brewing Tasting Club – a monthly online event taking place on the last Thursday at 7.30pm. Each night will see head brewer Fergal Murray host a tasting of three of their beers and a special guest food or drink producer will join him. The guest will talk with Fergal about how they would pair and enjoy a Dublin City Brewing beer with one of their culinary creations.
The first guest is based just around the corner from the Parnell Street brewery, Kwanghi Chan of Bowls by Kwanghi on Marlborough Street. The Michelin trained TV chef grew up with Asian flavours from working in his family’s Chinese restaurant in Buncrana, Donegal. At Bowls, he serves up some of Dublin’s finest dumplings as well as mouth watering signature bowls made with everything from barbecued beef briskets and Irish salmon. He also makes sauces and seasonings with his company Chanchan and on the night, he’ll be demonstrating how to best use his Black Garlic Peanut Rayu while paired with a Dublin City Brewing beer. Each guest will receive a jar of this as a special gift so there will be lots for them to learn and enjoy!
