For the last decade, Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa has hosted an annual Easter egg hunt to raise funds for both local and Irish charities. Unfortunately, in light of the current restrictions the event was unable to go ahead this year. As a result of this, the team decided to take this opportunity to think outside the box and take a new approach towards their fundraising.

As Ballygarry House are moving towards a more environmentally friendly future they wanted the theme of their fundraising campaign, Ballygarry for Barnardos, to reflect this.
The Ballygarry team completed daily clean-ups of their surrounding areas during the month of March. As the team live in various parts of the county their clean-ups were in a diverse range of locations, from beaches, to town parks, local parishes, and more!
In the last decade Ballygarry House Hotel & Spa has raised a significant amount of money for charity through their Easter fundraising, which is why this year more than ever they felt it was important toshow their support to Irish charities like Barnardos and do their bit to help out.
Last week the team were delighted to present a cheque for €1,047 to Louisa Tew from Barnardos. The proceeds from Ballygarry’s fundraiser will go towards a vast range of services, which help local communities by offering support to children and their families when they need it most.
