Bushmills Irish Whiskey has announced the first in its series of #BlackBushStories events, aimed at showcasing and celebrating those who have gone against the grain to pursue a passion and rise to the top of their field.

A mobile photography masterclass will be held at Dublin’s Drury Buildings on Wednesday June 20th, hosted by street photographer Freddy Kelly. Kelly, who is also known as Raw Dublin and shares his visual stories from around the city on Instagram, will be teaching attendees how to take great photos on smart devices. Acclaimed bartender Paul Rocks will also be on-hand with a tasting session featuring some of the brand’s best-loved tipples.

Bushmills has also launched an all-Ireland social media competition, asking budding photographers to share a story that moves them by uploading their photos to social media with the hashtag #BlackBushStories. A winner will be chosen from each county and receive a bottle of Black Bush – the overall winner will claim a Sony Xperia XZ2 smartphone and a trip to The Old Bushmills Distillery in Bushmills, Co Antrim, including an overnight stay at the Bushmills Inn.
