The Coburg announces the theme of its second Supper Club following the initial success of Conrad Dublin’s destination restaurant. Continuing the series with a focus on gin lovers, the 5-star hotel restaurant invites food enthusiasts to join the event, either dining solo or in groups, and enjoy a thoughtfully curated evening of food and gin in a comfortable and convivial setting with like-minded individuals.

Guests can look forward to a three-course dinner menu crafted by Executive Head Chef, Marek Sulg, with each dish carefully designed to complement the chosen gin pairings of the evening. The menu prioritises the use of the best Irish produce, sourcing ingredients from local suppliers.

The first course will immerse diners in the evening’s theme with a Gin-soaked Salmon Gravlax. Following this, a Lemon Sorbet will serve as a palate cleanser before the main course. The main course will feature a flavorsome and tender Barbary Duck Breast brightened by an Orange glaze, followed by a refreshing Orange Sorbet. The evening will conclude with Poached Pear Skewers seasoned with aromatic herbs.

In support of local produce, The Coburg has partnered with The Shed Distillery in Leitrim to offer a selection of Drumshanbo gins. Each gin has been carefully chosen to enhance the dining experience, with the evening’s picks featuring Classic Gunpowder Gin, a zesty Sardinian Citrus Gin, and a bright California Orange Gin.

The Coburg’s Gin Supper Club event will take place on Thursday, August 31st, commencing at 6:30pm. Tickets are priced at €79 per person and can be purchased via OpenTable. Early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
