The countdown is officially on as the prestigious Waterford Festival of Food returns to Dungarvan and surrounds next week, with a packed programme running from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th April 2025. A highlight of Ireland’s food calendar, the festival brings together local producers, top chefs, and passionate food lovers for a weekend of unforgettable flavour, community, and fun-and this year.  And this year’s festival comes with a side of music curated by none other than acclaimed chef and long-time festival supporter Paul Flynn of The Tannery.

To help set the tone for this year’s festival weekend has curated the ultimate Waterford Festival of Food Playlist—a handpicked collection of feel-good tracks inspired by the energy of the festival, the magic of great food, and the joy of sharing meals with friends. With 31 songs and a runtime of 1 hour 45 minutes, it’s the perfect soundtrack for cooking, feasting, or simply soaking up the festival vibes. Expect classics, chill-out anthems, and a few tasty surprises.

Now in its 16th year, Waterford Festival of Food is a vibrant celebration of the region’s food. From markets and cooking demos to farm visits, and family fun, this year’s event is all about sustainability, and the people behind the plate.

Whether you’re exploring the bustling food market in Dungarvan town centre, sitting down to a tasting menu in one of the region’s renowned restaurants, or taking a scenic food trail across Waterford’s lush landscapes, the festival promises to delight all the senses—and now, that includes your ears too.
