Are you a small, female-led business operating in the food, drink or hospitality sector in Ireland? Have you launched a new café or restaurant, created an exciting food or drink product, or opened the doors to a sweet B&B you’d like to see put more firmly on the map?

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, the sister agencies at Host House in Dublin — HOST and Studio Host — are offering three female owned businesses the opportunity to avail of a complimentary communications planning session to help build their brand awareness and professional profile in the Irish market.

With more than 20+ years of experience in PR, content creation and communications strategy, the HOST and Studio Host teams will work with each individual business selected to understand their brand challenges, business goals, and explore how they can effectively reach the audiences and target media they desire. This session will also include a digital and social media audit to ensure all touch points of the business are being utilised to maximum effect.

Speaking about the launch of this year’s new initiative, to coincide with International Women’s Day 2025, Breffni O’Dwyer, Deputy Managing Director of HOST, said the team is really looking forward to receiving applications from women in business who could benefit from the services and expertise the team offer in this sector. “We know the challenges that small food, drink and hospitality businesses face when it comes to executing effective PR and social media strategies in the domestic market today. Gaining that cut through and nurturing the right relationships is something we do daily at HOST. This International Women’s Day is the perfect opportunity for us to give something back, and use this knowledge and our network to help female entrepreneurs elevate their brands in the best way possible.”

To be one of the three lucky businesses selected, the application process is simple. Just send a short outline of your business story (300-500 words max) and any relevant information on your company’s goals for 2025 to [email protected] by midnight on Friday, February 28th. Applicants must be female-owned and operating in the food, drink, and hospitality sector in Ireland. The three chosen businesses will be announced on Saturday March 8th, International Women’s Day 2025.
