For one exclusive evening, Ballyfin’s Executive Head Chef, Richard Picard-Edwards will welcome 2** Michelin awarded chef Mickael Viljanen, Chef Patron of Chapter One by Mickael Viljanen to Ballyfin, who together will produce a delectable dining experience in a truly magical setting.

On Sunday, 29th September this gastronomic experience will see both chefs combine their unique culinary flair into the creation of a truly memorable one-off menu. Chef Mickael Viljanen has won many awards for his innovative approach, which is centred on the ethos of simplicity and quality ingredients, a philosophy shared by Chef Richard Picard-Edwards, also recognised by Michelin, who is renowned for his use of the seasonal Irish produce grown on the Estate’s 614 acres.

Hosted by Guest Maitre’d, Danny Desmond together with General Manager of Ballyfin, Peter White, guests will enjoy a champagne reception on arrival in the Gold Drawing Room before moving to the State dining room. Regular visitors to Ballyfin, will be familiar with the fine dining experience each guest enjoys, and on this special evening, both Chefs will introduce themselves and their expertly crafted dishes at the start of the evening. Wines will be perfectly paired with each dish on the exclusive menu.

Guests can then retire to the Cellar Bar for a cosy and relaxing night-cap, where they can chat with Richard and Mickael and the team and learn more about the inspiration behind the special evening.

This exclusive dining event takes place on Sunday, 29th September from 6.30pm and guests can enjoy the dinner with an overnight stay (bed & breakfast) from €1,430 per room.
