This category recognises and rewards innovative design work; with only new construction, conversion or renovation work considered for entry. It rewards achievement in the design of premises that have a specific wow factor and unique vision. Among the judge’s considerations will be originality, creativity, functionality, practical use of space, imagination and style. The space should also reflect it’s purpose, considering access, use and enjoyment by the general public. The refurbishment/design will have been completed within the past 24 months.
