The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine has partnered with the RDS on a series of four online National Dialogues on Ireland’s Food System.

These Dialogues form part of Ireland’s engagement for the United Nations Food Systems Summit which will be held in September, and also build on the work of the RDS to promote climate-smart agriculture.

The four Dialogues will coincide with the publication of Ireland’s draft 2030 Agri-Food Strategy, which has been developed using a food systems approach. More information about this series of talks is available here. These Dialogues are designed to provide an opportunity for all stakeholders, from producers to consumers, to learn about their food system and contribute to its future sustainability. The first of these talks, ‘Sustainable Food Systems and Ireland’s 2030 Agri-Food Strategy’, takes place on April 21. It is free to attend, but participants must register first .
