Designed by Laura Bowe of Marlfield House, the building works for the new suites began in February & opened in November 2020. Located in their own grounds, each individual suite has glazed French doors leading to a large terrace looking onto woodland gardens & a duck pond. They represent true escapism in a heavenly setting. Noonan Moran Architects Dublin, brought the design to life with the help of a team of local builders and craftspeople. Built to the highest specification and top rating BER certification , they are extremely well insulated and heated by air to water heat pumps. Sustainability and green energy was at the forefront of this design project.

The bedrooms are of large proportions, feature wall panelling (painted in Zoffany and Farrow & Ball paints) hides walk in wardrobes and drinks cabinets. Super king beds dominate the space with plush padded headboards & irish wool bed throws . The large plump sofas are festooned with ikat silk cushions and hand woven colourful wool rug underfoot. Dimmable designer light fittings and wall murals of birds adorn the walls. The feeling is of a modern, luxe interior with pops of colour and different textures throughout. The large bathrooms boast freestanding baths, walk in power showers, double marble sinks and round picture windows.

The Crittal stile windows are bespoke, made by renowned Dublin company Lambstongue. The Interiors are an eclectic mix of furniture, lighting & soft furnishings sourced by Laura, from Andrew Martin Interiors London, Rowell Design Dublin, Hicken Lighting Dublin, Stable of Ireland Dublin, From Jaipur With Love Rugs Dublin & art by acclaimed Irish artists Martin Mooney, Ciara Gormley & Victor Richardson
