The Flynn family name is synonymous within the Irish hotel industry, and 2019 will mark a year of significant developments for the trio of brothers in a number of their landmark properties.  Poignantly, the story of the hoteliers began in Dungarvan, West Waterford when the brothers late mother Elizabeth (Dottie) Flynn firmly established the family name within the local hospitality industry in 1965.

The Flynn family group now consists of The Imperial Hotel in Cork City, The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis, Co Clare and The Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny City. To show their appreciation to the many women who have contributed to the success of the hotel group, the Flynn family hosted a special lunch for International Women’s Day in their four star property, The Newpark Hotel, they celebrated International Women’s Day with Afternoon Tea for all female employees. The ladies responsible for these delicious treats were the female led pastry team of Chef’s Noreen Brannigan, Eimear Bridgeman, Beata Kaczmarek and Senior Chef de Partie Ann Maire Moran.
