Good news for The Shelbourne Hotel Dublin – the luxury hotel overlooking St. Stephen’s Green has recently been granted membership to Virtuoso, an exclusive global luxury travel network. The Shelbourne is just the fourth hotel in Dublin and one of 16 in Ireland to feature in the prestigious network that specialises in luxury and experiential travel.
Virtuoso’s portfolio consists of around 1,700 ‘preferred partners’ – tour operators, cruise lines, hotels and more – as well as over 9,800 ‘elite travel advisors’, providing its high-end clientele with unique experiences, privileged access and exclusive amenities. The Shelbourne completed the first phase of a multi-million euro renovation programme in 2017, consisting of enhancements throughout the building and a restoration of the hotel’s façade. The next stage will be unveiled this spring and will include the launch of a new bar and a complete renovation of the Lord Mayor’s Lounge.
